This sew along is going to be run a little differently from my previous ones due to changes in Instagram's hashtags.
You can still follow along on instagram and post your progress photos using the hashtags #lakegardenSAL, #lakegardenquilt, #emmajeanjansen to help you connect with other participants. However Instagram is planning on changing how hashtags are used and I'm not sure when that wil be implimented.
So I will be moving the community aspect of the sew along to my private Facebook group where we can all cheer each other on.
This group is super supportive and has a much greater ability to comment and share.

WHAT YOU NEED:
The Lake Garden Quilt Pattern.
Available as a PDF or Printed Pattern through my Online Store.
This Lake Garden quilt has 6 different finished sizes, so there should be a size to suit everyone.
The pattern comes with a printed version of the templates used in this quilt so you can make your own using templastic.
The templates were made for a previous quilt of mine called, Around The Lake so if you have already purchased these you can use them again!
If you would like to grab a set of the acrylic templates, you can here.
I am currently working on an Art Gallery Fabrics version with a gorgeous green check and spot.
The check will create the secondary pattern and instead of a stripe I'm using lots of different solids. I had both these bundles gifted to me a while back and I'm trying to make a big effort to use the fabric that I have.
I have found the exact bundles at a new shop that has just opened called The Stitchers Loft.
The floral bundle I used is called Wildflower Hill and the solid bundle is called Alegria.
The next version will also be made with fabric from my stash but I haven't decided on the direction that I want to go, so stay tuned for that!
Once again this quilt pattern has lots of opportunities to mix up both fabric and colour.
There is a colouring sheet included in the pattern so make sure you have some fun playing with that.
A newsletter will be sent out to all subscribers two weeks before the Sew Along starts with some fabric mock-ups and maybe even another quilt top by me.
Let me know if there are any fabric ranges you would like to see!
So hands up, who is going to join the sew along?
I am itching to get started and I hope you are too.
